Vascular hyperpermeability is one of the hallmarks of sepsis and endotoxemia, which contributes to tissue inflammation and organ dysfunction. The peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor delta (PPARd) is an anti-inflammatory transcription factor, while its role in endothelial barrier function remains unclear. We use single cell RNA-sequencing analysis to profile the gene expression of mouse lung ECs regulated by PPARD in endotoxemia. Overall design: Mouse received i.p. injection of LPS (5 mg/kg) for 18 h, and mouse lung CD45-CD326-CD144+CD31+ ECs were collected by flow cytometry sorting for scRNA-seq.
