We applied RNA-seq to FACS sorted LNvs (circadian neurons) w1118 flies (expressing mGFP in the LNv neurons) to look at gene expression pattern at different time of the day under different food/temperature conditions. Overall design: mRNA profiles of LNvs from Pdf>mGFP flies sampled at 2hr intervals raised at standard 1.5x sucrose-yeast (SY) food at 25°C, 1.5xSY at 18°C, or 0.5xSY at 25°C.
