FROM VOICE TO MEMORY: YUNUS RAJABI AND THE LIVEN HERITAGE IN THE MUSEUM

This article provides a scientific analysis of the life and creative activity of Yunus Rajabiy, as well as his significant contribution to the development of Uzbek national musical art. In particular, his work as a composer, performer, folklorist, and educator is comprehensively examined, and his role in preserving, notating, and transmitting Uzbek classical music—especially Shashmaqom—to future generations is substantiated. The article also explores the establishment of the Yunus Rajabiy house-museum, its collections, exhibition structure, and its scientific and cultural significance. Furthermore, the importance of implementing audio guide technologies from the perspective of modern museology is analyzed. The study highlights the contemporary relevance of Yunus Rajabiy’s legacy, his role in the development of national culture and art, and his contribution to the education of the younger generation.
