step2point dataset: Detailed shower simulation for data representation studies

This dataset contains detailed information of simulation of single incident particles in the calorimetry of the Open Data Detector. It can be used to study data representation of the showers (electromagnetic and hadronic), with the goal of constructing a tool that is able to produce the optimal data representation for generative models (surrogates for costly simulation of showers) that does not change the spatial characteristics of shower while decreasing the size of the input data.
