Agnostic Sequencing of Human Astrovirus Positive samples in Kilifi, Kenya

Agnostic sequencing is an unbiased sequencing approach whereby partial or full genomes of a diverse range of viruses can be simultaneously recovered from a sample irrespective of their sequence diversity. This study aimed to utilize an agnostic sequencing approach to obtain sequence information from known astrovirus RT-PCR positives collected from children with diarrhoea as one of their illness symptoms in Kilifi, coastal Kenya in 2019.
