Structural insights of microbial community of Deulijhari hot spring cluster based on thermal gradient using 16s-rRNA metagenome sequencing.

Insights about the distribution of the microbial community proves to be the major goal of understanding microbial ecology. Deulijhari hotspring cluster (20.74199 N 84.49206 E) is located in the Angul district of Odisha, 50% of which are cold springs lying attached to the hotsprings providing the sediment temperature gradient from 43°C to 69°C and a pH range of 7.14-8.10. Metagenomic DNA samples were subjected to paired-end multiplex high throughput sequencing using Illumina platform for Amplicon Metagenome Sequencing of 16s rRNA V3-V4 region. Differential microbial community in respect to the temperature gradient and pH among five hotspring cluster of Deulijhari hotspring are illustrated here at genus and species level including the unknown microbiota.
