Structures and growth factors of i-PRF and PRF. The microstructures of i-PRF (A) and PRF (B) were observed by hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining, in which fibrin fibrils were stained pink, while platelets and leukocytes were stained dark blue (scale bar = 100 µm). Leu: leukocytes; RBC: red blood cells. The ultrastructures of i-PRF (C) and PRF (D) were observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) (scale bar = 20 µm). (E) The growth factors PDGF-BB, IGF1, TGF-β1 and VEGF were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results are expressed as mean ± standard deviation. (**P<.01, ***P<.001)
