资源简介:
COM2LIFE will evaluate the effect of eutrophication on the biodiversity of microbialcommunities occurring in various compartments of peri-urban lakes located in the Ile-de-France.Here, both the taxonomic and functional facets of microbial biodiversity (Bacteria, Archaea, Eukaryota and viruses) will be investigated across 9 lakes displaying different eutrophication levels. Communities associated to the water, sediment and fish guts will be characterized using high-throughput sequencing. The limnological/physico-chemical characteristics of the lakes, along with the concentrations of most common pollutants will be measured. The project will thus identify the biotic and abiotic parameters that constrain community compositions and functions at the lake and regional scales and the influence of eutrophication levels. In the context of the emerging development of new culture-independent microbial bioindicators, datasets obtained during COM2LIFE will also be mined to identify parameter-responsive taxa, functions, or networks characteristics, as well as already known microbial indicators (pathogens...). This approach has the potential to provide new candidate bioindicators for evaluating anthropic pressure and water/ecosystem quality.
