On April 24, 2012 the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 12-13 establishing the East Lake Tarpon Community Overlay within the Pinellas County Comprehensive Plan. This Ordinance also established two Comprehensive Plan objectives and ten policies that define the distinct characteristics of East Lake and further the community's Vision for the future.
