Spray inoculation of Triticum aestivum (Bobwhite) with Fusarium graminearum str. PH-1. Spray inoculation of Triticum aestivum (Bobwhite) with Fusarium graminearum str. PH-1

Mature spikes of wheat (Triticum aestivum) cultivar Bobwhite, were spray inoculated wtih 5x10E5 spores/ml. Spikes were sprayed until run-off. Inoculated plants were kept in darkness for 24 hrs and at high humidity for 48 hrs. Spikelet tissue and rachis tissue were seperated and harvested at 2 and 5 days post infection (dpi). For every sample, tissue from two independent wheat ears were pooled.
