Infection due to Trichophyton indotinae is characterized by extensive involvement of large body areas, including the face, beard, and scalp. T. indotineae often showed resistance for terbinafine, leading to a high rate of therapeutic failure. Here, we characterized the genome of a T indotinae clinical strain collected from a patient resident in Bangladesh with pruritic cutaneous lesions persisting for over one year.
