Otopathology of The Human Temporal Bone

All our H&E stained slides are digitized with a 20x/0.75NA Plan Apo objective. The resolution of .svs digital e-slides files is 0.5 µm/pixel.
Each folder contains one case. The MEE case folder is named by “H” plus right ear and left ear tray numbers and main diagnosis. Each image file is named by Leica Aperio AT2 image number plus right ( R ) and/or left ( L ) tray number and section number.
The size of the file is depending on the size of the section. Each Leica Aperio AT2 scanned .svs image for our standard 24x40mm slides is about 700MB. It is about 28 GB for each ear and 56 GB each case if the slides both ears were digitized.
