Procedure for obtaining frozen cores from liquefied crystal silica sand model(Experiment 2 Laminar Box)

The purpose of this experiment is to develop a procedure for obtaining frozen core specimens from centrifuge tests. The attempt is to liquefy the soil prior to testing. In the first experiment, a rigid box was used. The changes from the first experiment to the second was the use of a laminar box that would allow shearing of the soil better than that of the rigid box. However, liquefaction was again not present, therefore the test was deemed unsuccessful.
