Resetting proteostasis with calumenin prevents the aggregation of misfolded vimentin during organ fibrosis

Calumenin maintain vimentin proteostasis to prevent organ fibrosis Overall design: Cells were lysed in TRIzol reagent, and total RNA was extracted by using a Rapid RNA Extraction Kit per the manufacturer's protocol. The integrity of the RNA was verified via agarose gel electrophoresis, and the RNA concentrations were quantified with a NanoDrop spectrophotometer. RNA-Seq libraries were prepared and sequenced on an Illumina NovaSeq 6000. The index of the reference genome was built by using HISAT2 (v2.0.5), and paired-end clean reads were aligned to the reference genome.
