ENHYDROSS Dataset: Mechanistic Models, Biological and Hydrodynamic Parameters, Geographical Data, and 3D Animal Models
收藏资源简介:
This dataset accompanies the manuscript titled ENHYDROSS: A new mechanistic model supports the trans-oceanic dispersal capability of terrestrial vertebrates (Pantelides et al., XXXX), which is currently under peer review at Ecology and Evolution. It includes: Supplementary Excel File: Comprising 19 sheets, this file contains the mechanistic models developed in the study, along with their parameters and computational implementations, as well as results and sensitivity tests. It also includes anatomical data, hydrodynamic calculations, metabolic rate estimates, and Cretaceous measured paleodistances between Iberia and Africa with their corresponding paleocoordinates. 3D Models: Five STL files representing a subset of the animal taxa analyzed in the study, specifically those for which buoyancy analyses were performed. An additional STL file shows the saltwater crocodile in a swimming pose, which was used to obtain a more accurate estimate of frontal surface area during locomotion, as detailed in the main text. Note: A revised version of this dataset may be uploaded in response to the editorial process, if required.
