本书系统总结了我国第四纪化石孢粉类型和各区域代表性孢粉类型鉴别特征。全书分为三章:第一章综述了我国各区域现代植被和第四纪植被史,主要是为了让读者能够便捷了解我国不同地区植被演化历史,认识主要孢粉科属在第四纪孢粉学研究中的重要地位;第二章总结了我国各地区第四纪主要孢粉类型特征,并对易混淆的常见孢粉类型形态特征进行了鉴别对比,归纳了实用鉴定要点;第三章编制了我国各区域的孢粉图版及其说明,按照植物系统分类系统及科一级字母顺序依次排列制作成图版合计409 幅,包括300 余科,近1000 属植物孢子与花粉。 本书可供第四纪古植被、古气候和古生态领域的学者、教师及学生参考使用,尤其是可以为第四纪孢粉学专业的大学生、研究生等入门学者提供孢粉鉴定指南。

This book systematically summarizes the Quaternary fossil sporopollen types and the diagnostic characteristics of representative sporopollen types across various regions of China. The book is divided into three chapters: Chapter 1 provides an overview of modern vegetation and Quaternary vegetation history in different regions of China, aiming to enable readers to conveniently understand the vegetation evolution history of various areas in China and recognize the important role of major sporopollen families and genera in Quaternary palynology research; Chapter 2 summarizes the characteristics of major Quaternary sporopollen types in various regions of China, conducts identification and comparison of the morphological features of commonly confused common sporopollen types, and summarizes practical identification key points; Chapter 3 compiles sporopollen plates and their descriptions for various regions of China. A total of 409 plates are prepared in accordance with the plant taxonomic system and the alphabetical order of families, covering spores and pollen of more than 300 families and nearly 1000 genera of plants. This book can serve as a reference for scholars, teachers and students in the fields of Quaternary paleovegetation, paleoclimate and paleoecology, and particularly provides a sporopollen identification guide for entry-level learners such as undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Quaternary palynology.
