Report on user feedback

This document reviews how information held in Biotas (i.e. publications such as Faunas, Floras and Mycotas) is used by a variety ofaudiences. The methods used to gather evidence included interactive workshops, pre- workshop questionnaires, follow-upinterviews and desk based research. The main audiences surveyed were taxonomists, informaticians, conservationists, ecologists,publishers and IT developers who routinely handle Biota information. Distribution, morphology, habitat and taxonomy are the mostcommonly used information types (Don Kirkup, September 2013).
