Opinion on future effect of science and tech on jobs in Russia 2020

In 2020, the largest share of Russians, represented by 55 percent of survey respondents, feared that the number of jobs in their local area would decrease over the next five years due to scientific and technological developments. The portion of those holding an optimistic view that the employment opportunities would improve was measured at 32.5 percent. By 2030, roughly a quarter of jobs in the country were estimated to be at risk by automation processes.
