Photoresponse of new azo pyridine functionalized poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate-co-methyl methacrylate)

The study aimed to synthesize of azopyridine functionalizated poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate-co-methylmethacrylate) (azo(HEMA-co-MMA), characterization of azopolymer including thermal and photoisomerization studies, and generate diffraction and surface relief gratings (SRG).The data includes:1H NMR, TGA, DSC for new azo(HEMA-co-MMA) and polymer matrix p(HEMA-co-MMA)WAXD for azo(HEMA-co-MMA)FTIR for azo(HEMA-co-MMA)Calibration curve in NMP for 4-(4-hydroxyphenylazo)pyridineUV-Vis spectra for azo(HEMA-co-MMA) in NMP solution (c = 10-5 mol/l)Cis-trans isomerization for azo(HEMA-co-MMA) in solid state. Trans-cis reaction was generated by 365 nm diode light.
