In 2019, over 70 percent of British adults who were taking medicinal cannabidiol (CBD) products were doing so as a treatment for pain, by far the most common reason for taking CBD products in Great Britain. 38 percent were using CBD products for anxiety/depression while 24 percent were using these products as a treatment for sleeping disorders.
