Data from: Identification, in silico characterization and expression analysis of Deschampsia antarctica DaDREB2A transcription factor gene involved in abiotic stress responses
收藏资源简介:
The dataset contains the annotated nucleotide sequences of two predicted allele variants of DaDREB2A transcription factor gene of Deschampsia antarctica (Poaceae), as well as the alignment of these sequences and two DaDREB2A gene allele variants that were cloned and sequenced from a D. antarctica plant (NCBI GenBank accession numbers PX861127 and PX963160). It also contains the alignment of the corresponding DaDREB2A protein variants. The DaDREB2A variants were assembled using D. antarctica raw genomic and transcriptomic sequencing data from the NCBI Sequence Read Archive (SRA; https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sra/). DREB2A-like gene sequence from Lolium arundinaceum (AJ717396.1), a species phylogenetically closely related to Deschampsia, was retrieved from NCBI GenBank and used as reference to query the D. antarctica genomic nanopore datasets (SRX24981177–SRX24981180, SRX24937479) using discontiguous MegaBLAST with the default parameters. Based on the identified long homologous regions, a consensus gene sequence was constructed and subsequently refined using higher-accuracy short-read genomic and transcriptomic data (SRX465632, SRX5305101–SRX5305108). Sequence assembly and manual curation were performed using MEGA11 software. The positions of exons and mRNA were predicted by comparing genomic and transcriptomic data.
