rs671 genotyping and gut microbiota

In 562 adults from northeastern Taiwan, we integrated genotyping, microbiota profiling, and metabolic measures. When stratified by ALDH2 rs671 genotype, the mean ages were 63.3 ± 11.13 years for the GG group, 62.17 ± 12.17 years for the GA group, and 61.73 ± 10.23 years for the AA group. The proportions of males were 57.9% (GG), 49.6% (GA), and 62.6% (AA). Corresponding mean BMI values were 27.02 ± 4.56 kg/m², 26.86 ± 5.09 kg/m², and 27.93 ± 4.48 kg/m².
