CalWildFire
收藏资源简介:
Wildfires pose a constant threat to ecosystems and human safety, especially in Mediterranean regions, where increasing temperatures and prolonged droughts intensify conditions for ignition and spread. Accurate risk assessment and forecasting depend on datasets that seamlessly integrate meteorological, environmental, and human-related factors with high spatial and temporal resolution. The CalWildFire dataset addresses this need by offering a comprehensive collection of wildfire and meteorological data for the Calabria region in southern Italy, built from in situ ground-based observations managed by the regional environmental agency. CalWildFire provides 11 years (2008–2018) of daily, validated in situ meteorological measurements and ground-based burned-area records. calwildfire.tar.gz provides the compressed CalWildFire dataset, organized into four directories (burned, never_burned, burned_negatives, burned_one_day_before) along with two JSON files of dataset statistics, both with and without the samples from burned_one_day_before.CUT_Readme.pdf details the reclassification of CUT land-use categories into 10 classes.
