资源简介:
In this paper, we investigated the relationship between body size,
phylogeny and spatial patterns of distribution in three aquatic frog
genera (Nyctibatrachus, Micrixalus, Hylarana) that have undergone
extensive diversification in the Western Ghats of India. We used a
comprehensive sampling protocol designed to uncover fine-scale divergence
between allopatric and parapatric lineages. The dataset comprises (a)
distribution data for three aquatic genera at an assemblage level, which
was used to carry out the community assembly analyses, and (b) the
time-calibrated phylogenetic trees, body size, distribution and
microhabitat data (trait_data), and species co-occurrence data required to
reproduce the evolutionary analyses described in the manuscript.
