This dataset includes discharge, sediment transport rate and water quality data of the main streams of the Yangtze River and Hanjiang River, collected by the School of Environment, Beijing Normal University from multiple hydrological stations and water quality monitoring stations, as well as sediment topographic data of the Yangtze River Estuary and its nearshore waters (30.810°N–31.417°N, 121.567°E–122.595°E), self-measured hydrological and sediment data of sections in the Yangtze River Estuary, and sediment particle size grading data.
