Two Years of Reef Survey Data from Bocas del Toro, Panama: Baseline for Coral Reef Monitoring

This dataset contains raw observations of coral composition collected from five dive sites in Bocas del Toro, Panama. For each site, the relative abundance of seven coral morphological types (branching, digitate, fleshy, leaf, massive, meandroid, and solitary) was recorded based on in situ surveys. Site coordinates are included to enable spatial analyses and mapping. The data support research on coral community structure, biodiversity, and spatial variation in reef ecosystems. This open-access dataset is intended to facilitate reproducibility, comparative studies, and further analyses by the broader marine science and conservation community.
