资源简介:
Numerous epidemiological studies have demonstrated a significant association between PM2.5 exposure and pulmonary diseases. PM2.5 may contribute to epithelial injury and immune dysregulation in lung cells. In this study, we provide single-cell level gene expression profiles of mouse lungs under PM2.5 exposure, offering insights into the microenvironmental alterations and physiological responses induced by PM2.5. Overall design: C57BL/6 mice were housed and managed at the animal facility. Airborne PM2.5 was collected by air PM sampler and multi-nozzle cascade impactor (MCI) (Tokyo Dylec Co.). The collected airborne PM2.5 was exposed to mice via respiratory tract. The duration of ambient PM2.5 exposure was one month to investigate the relatively long-term physiological effects. Subsequently, fresh lung tissue of mice was cleaned and placed in tissue preservation solution. C57BL/6 mice were randomly assigned to the PM2.5 exposure group and the control group to minimize batch effects in the single-cell experiment.
