资源简介:
Data available is used for Research with description as follow:Padel has rapidly grown in Greater Jakarta, attracting new facilities and investment; however, the sustainability of demand depends not only on initial adoption but on repeated participation. This study examines the determinants of padel re-participation intention within a community-driven urban sport ecosystem using an extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), positioning padel as a form of urban physical activity contributing to SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities). Health consciousness is incorporated as an antecedent of attitude, while Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) is tested as a potential moderator to assess whether trend-related anxiety amplifies re-participation drivers. A cross-sectional survey was conducted with active padel players in Greater Jakarta (N = 159) and analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The model explains 61.7% of the variance in re-participation intention. Subjective norm emerges as the strongest predictor (β = 0.362), followed by attitude (β = 0.293) and perceived behavioral control (β = 0.234), all significant. Health consciousness positively affects attitude (β = 0.327), indicating that health-oriented motivation strengthens favorable evaluations of padel. In contrast, FoMO does not significantly moderate the TPB relationships, suggesting that re-participation is driven more by community reinforcement and perceived control than by short-term hype. Beyond managerial implications, these findings provide behavioral evidence relevant for data-informed urban governance by highlighting how community dynamics, perceived access, and health-oriented values support sustained engagement in urban physical activities, offering insights for ecosystem interventions aligned with urban sustainability and public health objectives.
