Residential VESS / Battery Cloud simulation model for household energy storage-as-a-service
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the reproducible Python model, synthetic residential digital twin, reference outputs, assumptions, KPI tables, sensitivity analysis, and figures used for the manuscript “Virtualizing Residential Battery Storage: A Battery Cloud Architecture for Household Energy Storage-as-a-Service”. The model evaluates a Virtual Energy Storage System (VESS), or Battery Cloud, where households rent virtual battery capacity instead of purchasing individual home batteries. The simulation includes 1000 synthetic households over a one-year hourly horizon and compares three scenarios: no storage, individual household batteries, and rented virtual household batteries through VESS. The reference results reproduce the main manuscript findings, including 5.84 MWh of sold virtual capacity, 3.21 MWh of physical Battery Cloud capacity, a virtualization ratio of 1.82, and a 45% reduction in physical battery capacity compared with individual household batteries.
