资源简介:

This research explores the relationships between GPs called peer connection. The research shows that GPs are using their peer connected experiences as an informal supervision model. Peer Connection supports clinical learning as mind-lines, supports the management of affect as heartlines and supports identity work through a reflection with another GP peer. This relational network is stratified for different needs of practice and is accessed in a variety of settings. There are enablers and barriers to peer connected experiences which health systems can support. The importance of these relationships is demonstrated by the GPs suggesting they would leave clinical practice if they were unable to enact peer connected experiences. The GPs connected peer connections to patient safety but also to their own wellbeing and sustainability within practice.
