This dataset contains time-series observations of primary forest loss in Buhaguzi, Uganda from 2001 to 2020. From 2002 to 2020, Buhaguzi lost 6.99kha of humid primary forest, making up 24% of its total tree cover loss in the same time period. The dataset consists of 22 rows of data, split into 17 rows for training and 4 rows for testing, with each row representing a time-series observation. Variables include year, primary forest cover loss in hectares, and primary forest extent remaining. The dataset was published by Global Forest Watch and curated into ML-ready Parquet format by Electric Sheep Africa.
