COP Loss Dataset Based on Geographical Region in Bangladesh

This dataset was obtained from energy audits conducted in Bangladesh across different sectors, including industries, hospitals, offices, warehouses, data centers, and shopping malls. It contains technical and operational information about HVAC cooling systems such as water-cooled chillers, VRF/VRV systems, and packaged rooftop units installed in various regions of the country. The dataset includes geographic information (region, latitude, longitude), building characteristics, system capacity, operational parameters (setpoint temperature, operating hours, equipment age, maintenance score), and performance indicators such as nominal and actual COP and COP loss. It also integrates environmental and climatic variables like mean, maximum, and minimum temperature, relative humidity, urban heat island index, coastal proximity, and elevation. Overall, the dataset enables the analysis of cooling system performance, operational efficiency, and the influence of climatic and urban conditions on HVAC energy performance in Bangladesh. NB: All organizations included in the dataset have been anonymized to protect confidentiality, and no identifiable company-specific information is disclosed. The data were collected with permission from the audited facilities, and their use is strictly limited to academic and research purposes.
