Harnessing Azolla Cultivation in Water Treatment Ponds as a Sustainable Strategy for Water Conservation, Carbon Sequestration, and Environmental Management in Arid Ecosystems

Cultivation of Azolla in water treatment ponds significantly enhances water conservation by reducing evaporation rates, improves water quality through pollutant and nutrient removal, and increases carbon sequestration capacity, thereby contributing to sustainable water and environmental management in arid ecosystems.
