Acidovorax sp. BoFeN1 Genome sequencing and assembly

This project seeks to investigate the mechanisms underlying microbial nitrate-dependent iron oxidation. This biogeochemical process could represent one of the earliest metabolisms to evolve on Earth, and has relevance for astrobiology research on Mars.
