Synergistic hepatoprotective effect of the TLR5 agonist CBLB502 and its downstream effector IL-22

We have shown that CBLB502 (CBLB) display hepatoprotective activities, and triggers a strong IL-22 release. To understand the hepatoprotection, we describe the response of isolated adult mouse hepatocyte to IL-22, CBLB, or IL-22 + CBLB exposure. Primary mouse hepatocytes (C57BL/6) were isolated from livers of 3 donors. Plated mouse hepatocytes were then treated with 1ng/ml of IL-22, or 4ng/ml CBLB or the combination of the two (IL-22+CBLB) and incubated for 2hours before RNA extraction and RNA-seq.
