资源简介:

This dataset contains selected model outputs from the idealized coupled WRF–ROMS experiments used in the study “The Modulation of Tropical Cyclone Intensity by Subsurface Salinity Stratification: An Idealized Study Using Coupled General Circulation Model” (Journal of Geophysical Research: Oceans, DOI: 10.1029/2025JC023957). The dataset includes outputs from three experiments with ExpW, ExpM, and ExpS subsurface salinity stratification. The archived ROMS data include upper-ocean temperature, salinity, vertical velocity, and temperature-budget diagnostic terms used in the analyses. The WRF data include the near-surface wind and pressure fields used to derive tropical cyclone track and intensity. To reduce data volume, the model outputs have been spatially subset to the region surrounding the simulated tropical cyclone track, and the three-dimensional ROMS fields are restricted to the upper ocean used in the analyses. These data support the figures, diagnostics, and conclusions presented in the associated article.
