Drill holes

The purpose of the product is to provide borehole information from the Swedish bedrock. The Drilling Hole dataset contains coordinated information about boreholes from which SGU in many cases manages drill cores, cock, etc. The material comes from drillings made in connection with exploration and construction work throughout Sweden. The product contains information about the borehole and whether there is a core preserved at SGU. Some of the cores covering various Swedish mineralisations and ore types have been photographed and scanned using infrared hyperspectral technology. The product contains links to download data for both raw data (level 0) and processed data (level 2). There is also a link to an external page with the possibility to view high resolution optical images, FCC images and IR spectra for the current kernel. This requires a special app (Intellicore) to be installed on your computer. If the app isn't already installed on your computer, you'll be asked if you want to install it.
