Data was collected in order to establish the effects of elevated temperature on the performance and survival of crown-of-thorns starfish. The data consists of the following responses at different temperatures: righting time, average movement rate, standard metabolic rate, survival. The average movement rate was established using Adobe After Effects Software. Righting time, average movement rate and standard metabolic rate data was analysed in R studio using linear mixed effects models. Survival data was analysed using Kaplan Meier survival analysis and cox regression. Software/equipment used to create/collect the data: Software- Pyro Oxygen Logger version 2 Equipment- Firesting oxygen probes, Pyroscience, Aachen, Germany Software/equipment used to manipulate/analyse the data: Software- R Studio version 3.6.3 os darwin15.6.0 Adobe After Effects
