资源简介:
Mycobiome, referring to the fungal microbiota in host niches, is beginning to gain increasing recognition as a fundamental component of human microbiome. However, little is known about key players that coordinate adaptation of fungal species to diverse host microenvironments such as the GI tract. Here, we discovered that depletion of the phosphate transceptor in different fungal commensals, encountered a strong cost in gastrointestinal colonization. To determine the mechanisms of this phosphate transceptor in fungal commensalism, we performed mRNA-seq of C. albicans colonizing the murine GI tract.
