Female c57BL/6 mice (n = 5–7) were treated with vehicle or Δ9-THC 16 mg/kg on days 1–4, 8–11 and 15–18. On day 2, mice were infected with 7.5×104C. albicans/mouse. On day 19, mice were injected with 5×105C. albicans/mouse. Six hours after the second yeast injection, tissues were harvested and colony forming units (CFU) were determined for the indicated tissues. Data is expressed as Log10 CFU/g tissue. For kidneys: ap = 0.0006, bp = 0.0053 compared to vehicle control; liver: cpdp = 0.0007, ep9-THC 8 mg/kg treatment; spleen, fp = 0.03 compared to vehicle control. Statistical tests: ANOVA followed by Tukey’s test.
