AlterDB is a dataset containing transposable element libraries of 55 plant species from 6 different phyla. AlterDB consists of 19,804 consensus sequences (semi-curated and intact) of class I and class II transposable elements, as well as 164,135 individual sequences of intact LTRs from the intact-LTR-RTs database. In total, 183,939 sequences were collected, corresponding to 1.4 GB (gygabytes) in size.
