This dataset comprises low-energy ion data acquired by the Low-Energy Particle Detector aboard the Tan Ce 2 Satellite (Polar Orbit Satellite) of the Double Star Mission. The data includes low-energy ion density, group velocity, parallel temperature and perpendicular temperature. The temporal coverage of the dataset spans from August 9, 2004 to October 31, 2005. All data files are stored in the standard CDF format, with one data file per calendar day. This dataset can be used to support research on wave-particle interactions in magnetic fields.
