VPRS 17080 Outward Letter Books

The Outwards Letter Books contain copies of outgoing correspondence. Up until 1985 it was maintained by the Water and Sewerage Office which was a Secretariat that represented the Morwell Waterworks Trust (VA 4127), Morwell Sewerage Authority (VA 4093) and the Churchill Sewerage Authority (VA 2122). The office was located at 136 Commercial Road, Morwell. From 1985 it was maintained by the Morwell Water Board (VA 2241) and from 1991 the Latrobe Region Water Authority (VA 4688).The subject matter of the correspondence mainly concerns water and sewerage mains and house connections as well as general administrative matters, such as staff recruitment.
