CD103 and CD39 co-expression identifies neoantigen-specific cytotoxic T cells in colorectal cancers with low mutation burden

In this study, co-expression of CD103 and CD39 on CD8+ T cells was found to be a feature of neoantigen-specific T cells in mismatch-repair proficient colorectal cancers. And, therefore, co-detection of these markers can be employed to enrich for neoantigen-specific cytotoxic T cells from bulk tumor-infiltrating T cell populations.
