El Estudio Veg Platense, Vegetarianism in Argentina - 2016

El Estudio Veg Platense 2016 (in English: The Veg Study of La Plata 2016) is a survey-based study of veganism and vegetarianism en La
Plata, inspired by exploratory qualitative work conducted by PI DeLessio-Parson in June-August 2012. This dataset contains responses from 418 self-identified vegans and vegetarians, ages 18 and older, residing in La Plata during the period of data collection. Questions include motivations and resources; social dimensions and the social ties that connect people to one another; demographic characteristics including age, educational background, family characteristics and partnership status, place of birth and ethnic origins; and attitudes and beliefs about the practice of veganism and vegetarianism as well as total time vegan/vegetarian.
