The study is a dyadic longitudinal study spanning seven time points over 1.5 years. Couples were recruited online from Canada and the United States. At the first time point, couples (N=200) were between 6 and 12 months into their relationship (i.e., in the first year of dating). The study was approved by our research ethics board at York University (e2019-041) See the attached document for an overview of the measures across timepoints. We asked about their sex life and relationship (including gratitude, appreciation, sacrifice) at each timepoint.
