Microbial diversity in the different reactors for treating low C/N ratio wastewater

To effective denitrification of wastewater with low C/N ratio, four types of reactors are used, including the Heterotrophic Nitrification-aerobic denitrification (HN-AD)system (R 1), the electricity coupled HN-AD system(R2), the electricity coupled anaerobic microbe system(R3), and the eletricity coupled aerobic -anaerobic microbe system(R4). The results showed that the denitrification rate is R2>R1>R4>R3. To solve the mechanism, the microbial diversity in the different reactors were analysed.
