资源简介:
This study investigates the role of environmental factors, particularly light exposure and nutrient availability, in shaping microbial communities and their mediation of copper transport and bioavailability in wetlands. The goal of the sequencing data was to assess microbial functional and community shifts under varying nutrient and light treatments. The data were derived from water and sediment samples collected during a microcosm experiment at the Savannah River Site near Aiken, SC, which involved two wetlands, a constructed wetland and a natural depressional wetland. Microbial communities were incubated under light and dark conditions, as well as under varying orthophosphate or nitrate concentrations, with copper introduced midway to simulate contamination stress.
