The images obtained at IBT-CMR (Zürich, Switzerland) has been acquired in an MRI prototype based on the Philips Ingenia Ambition X, ramped down to 0.6T. The strong gradient performance with a slew rate of 200 T/m/s and maximum amplitude of 45 mT/m are thus maintained, albeit not fully exploited for the present protocols. The used coils are a standard 14 channel head coil. The data was subsequently exported using MRecon and a custom exporter from the Philips Raw Data format to ISMRMRD. All the data was generated using ten volunteers. Anonymized information on the sex, and age is provided below. For a given subject acting as a volunteer, we distinguish between the application of (a) a qualitative protocol and (b) a quantitative protocol. The qualitative protocol consists of running three consecutive multi-slice 2D FSE sequences, optimized to obtain PD-, T1-, and T2-weighted images. This protocol requires approximately 9 minutes of sequence execution time. The quantitative protocol consists of acquiring two sets of images: (1) an accelerated multi-slice GraSE (using an EPI readout) RARE sequences with varying effective echo times (TEeff) to obtain a multi-slice T2 map, and (2) a b-TFE sequence with varying inversion times to obtain a multi-slice T1 map. Both the quantitative and qualitative protocol was acquired for the same patient in the same position. In the tables below are listed the main parameters of the sequences performed for both protocols. Table 1.
