Successional changes of fecal microbial communities in terrestrial microcosms in cattle, chicken and Canada goose

For this project we studied the successional changes of fecal microbiota post defecation of cattle, chicken and Canada goose. This study is relevant for microbial source tracking, as it tells us how long specific taxa can be found in fecal communities after defecation and thus what the limitations of using those taxa as markers are.
